This paper continues the author's work on semigroups satisfying the term condition (TC), a concept derived from universal algebra. In this paper the structure of the \(E\)-inversive elements is determined. As a consequence the semisimple semigroups satisfying the term condition are shown to be isomorphic to a direct product of an abelian group by a left zero semigroup by a right zero semigroup.
