The authors study the longitudinal shear of two bonded dissimilar anisotropic elastic media with a flat inclusion of finite rigidity, one of the tips of which meets the interface of two media. The authors use the singular point method to obtain a singular integral equation with generalized Cauchy kernels. Numerical results concerning the stress singularity at the tip of the flat inclusion are analyzed for different degrees of material anisotropy and rigidity of the inclusion.
