By generalizing a result of \textit{G. Laptev} [Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR, 41, 315-317 (1943; Zbl 0060.39203)], the main result here states that every linearly connected space \(A_{nm}\) with \(n\)-dimensional base and \(m\)-dimensional fibers can be immersed into an \(N\)-dimensional affine space \(A_N\), for \(N>n +m [(n+2)/2]\), where the bracket denotes the integer part.
