The author presents solutions of differential equations describing the drag and mass ablation for a meteorite in the atmosphere. A particular case of rectilinear trajectory is considered, and an exact solution is given in this case. Additionally, the author explains how to calculate aerodynamics coefficients and other dynamic parameters which correspond to observed meteorite trajectories.
