Algebraic fiberings of Grassmann varieties (Q1358715)

In this paper one studies the ``fiberality'' question for Grassmann manifolds. The main result of the paper states that, over a field \(F\) of characteristic \(\not=2\), from any Grassmann variety of \(2\)-planes in an \(n\)-dimensional (\(n\not\equiv 2\pmod 4\)) vector space there are no non-constant maps to a non-singular projective variety with connected positive dimensional fibers.
