The problem of resonances for a one dimensional, one gap, periodic even Schrödinger operator in a weak electric field is considered. The imaginary part of the first ladder of resonances is calculated perturbatively; this shows that a naive application of Fermi's Golden rule does not give the correct answer for this problem.
