Computing of fixed points of extremal mappings (Q1360743)

This is a continuation of the author's works in 1992-1993 devoted to the problem of computing of a fixed point of an extremal mapping. The approach is based on constructing proximal and gradient controlled methods to seek a fixed point. New sufficient conditions for monotonical convergence and convergence with an exponential estimate to equilibrium are presented.
