Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence, uniqueness and stability of almost periodic solutions of a class of functional differential equations with infinite delays. These results extend the results due to \textit{G. Seifert} [J. Differ. Equations 41, 416-425 (1981; Zbl 0461.34053)]. The author is able to solve two open problems proposed by Seifert in his paper under much weaker conditions.
