Generalization of Drinfeld quantum affine algebras (Q1364203)

Drinfeld described quantum affine algebras as Hopf algebras by giving comultiplications for the quantum current operators. The authors present a generalization. We do not describe it here, but as a special case, the structure functions for the algebra can be chosen to be elliptic, so that the authors derive certain elliptic quantum groups as Hopf algebras. These degenerate into quantum affine algebras under appropriate degeneration of the structure functions.
