Dans cet exposé, reprenant une idée de \textit{J.-P. Reveillès} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 299, No. 14, 707-710 (1984; Zbl 0572.54032)] nous proposons une définition non-standard de la dimension d'un espace topologique et nous montrons que ce nouvel invariant topologique coïncide dans le cas des espaces métriques séparables avec les définitions classiques -- petite dimension inductive (ind), grande dimension inductive (Ind) et dimension de Lebesgue (dim).
