The authors study the exceptional compact Hermitian symmetric spaces EIII, EVII (in É. Cartan's notation) and the twistor space Z(EIX) of the exceptional symmetric spaces EIX. By an interesting description they compute the first Chern classes and the volumes of those spaces.
