The authors investigate the asymptotic behaviour of a randomly perturbed system of the form \[ x^\varepsilon_{n+1} =f(x_n^\varepsilon) +\varepsilon \varphi (x^2_n,\;y_{n+1}) \] where \(\{y_n\}\) is a Markov chain. Applications are given in epidemics, genetics and demographics.
