Transmission of SH waves through a linear viscoelastic layer sandwiched between two anisotropic inhomogeneous elastic half-spaces (Q1366936)

The authors derive expressions for reflection and transmission coefficients as functions of inhomogeneity of the half-spaces and the thickness of the viscoelastic layer. The results are compared with the corresponding results when the layer is perfectly elastic and the half-spaces are isotropic.
