Basing on the authors' earlier result on direct decompositions of molecular lattices, they give here the definitions of stratification structure, stratified point and stratified molecular lattice. Moreover, they consider the corresponding category \(\Omega\) taking the stratified molecular lattices as objects and the so-called stratification-preserving homomorphisms as morphisms, and show that some nice properties, like \(N\)-compactness, in \(L\)-fuzzy topological spaces can be generalized to the category \(\Omega\).
