The paper is a study of the motion equations of a multi-rigid body system with external shocks. The author first discusses the classical Lagrange equations when the dynamical system is subjected to impulsive forces. After that, he derives the Lagrange equations of a multi-rigid body system with external shocks which are more suitable for computer calculations. This kind of studies is important for many applications to engineering.
