We present a nonlinear thermo-elastic constitutive model for large deformations of isotropic materials. This model is specialized to account for the physics and thermo-dynamics of the elastic deformation of rubber-like materials. The model is fitted to existing experimental data on vulcanized natural rubbers to determine their material parameters.
