The author considers \(l_1\) robust identification of a rational transfer function with a fixed degree. One has to determine the coefficients of the rational transfer function in the framework of worst-case/deterministic identification via optimization. The author proposes an algorithm and proves the convergence of the sequence generated by the algorithm. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the high efficiency of the algorithm and its applicability.
