The author of this paper proposes a new method for the construction of integrable Hamiltonian systems. Given a Poisson manifold, the author constructs new Poisson brackets on it using a Dirac-Poisson structure. The newly constructed Poisson bracket is nonlinear, and gives rise to an integrable Hamiltonian system. The author illustrates his method by providing two examples of different integrable Hamiltonian systems on the simple Lie algebra \(s\ell(3)\).
