The authors discuss the orbits of test particles within Tolman's type VII solution of Einstein's field equations. The density distribution is spherically symmetric and decreases from the center parabolicly up to zero at the surface; however, there exists no physically meaninful equation of state. The authors distinguish five different types of orbits inside this matter distribution and discuss them in view of the trajectories in star clusters.
