A linear time-invariant system is considered. An \(H_\infty\)-approach (using transfer and polynomial functions) to calculate compensators in the frequency domain is proposed. For the computer implementation an interval arithmetic method is applied to realize numerical algorithms with result verification. This approach is applied to the lateral axis of a single engine VISTA F-16 supersonic test vehicle.
