New regularization formulas in the boundary element method for anisotropic elasticity (Q1371236)

The paper concerns the regularized integral representation of displacement gradients within anisotropic elasticity. The integral representations of displacements and Green's functions are recapitulated for three-dimensional problems. The regularitization is performed by isolating singularities and by subtraction technique. A new contribution of the paper is an explicit expression for the displacement gradients at the singular point in terms of tractions and tangent derivatives of displacements at this point. Finally, the tangent derivatives are expressed in terms of the derivatives within respect to local coordinates introduced on each boundary element within the discretization of the boundary surface.
