An incompressible second-grade plane flow is studied where the thermal effects are neglected. The hodograph transformation is used to solve the problem. Instead of the physical plane, the hodograph plane uses velocity components as coordinates. The governing equations are transformed in hodograph plane by introducing an appropriate Legendre transform. Some special flow problems are investigated.
