State-space formulas are derived for a family of controllers solving the nonlinear \(H^\infty\) state-feedback control problem. These controllers are obtained by interconnecting the ``central controller'' with an asymptotically stable, free system that satisfies one additional cascade condition. All proofs given are simple and clear, and also provide a deeper insight into the synthesis of the corresponding linear \(H^\infty\) controllers.
