We study the unique solvability of the Dirichlet variational problem for degenerating elliptic equations in \(\mathbb{R}_n^+\) and the smoothness of the solution to this problem depending on the smoothness of the coefficients in the right-hand side of the equation. The degeneracy takes place for \(x_n\to 0\) and for \(| x|\to +\infty\).
