Let \(G\) and \(H\) be finite groups, \(R\) the ring of all algebraic integers and denote by \(RX(G)\) the \(R\)-algebra of \(R\)-linear combinations of irreducible complex characters of \(G\). The author characterizes \(R\)-isomorphisms \(\phi\colon RX(G)\to RX(H)\) and the group of automorphisms of \(RX(G)\).
