Codimension one foliations without unstable compact leaves (Q1375165)

Let \(M\) be a closed manifold of class \(C^\infty\). The main result of the present paper is a Kupka-Smale type theorem: The set of all codimension one foliations of \(M\) whose compact leaves are \(C^\infty\)-stable is \(G_\delta\)-dense (respective to the \(C^\infty\)-topology) in the space of all transversely orientable codimension one foliations of \(M\).
