The integral equation under consideration is of the first kind, in the form of a Mellin transform, and has the generalized hypergeometric function \(_pF_q\) as kernel. A decomposition structure is obtained which involves one application of the Weyl fractional integral and multiple applications of the Laplace transform and the inverse Laplace transform, for which tables exist. Several special cases are displayed.
