Macroscopic elastic tensor of a regular incompressible porous composite material (Q1377083)

We consider the complete solution of the problem of finding the elastic moduli of an incompressible porous medium with a regular structure. Calculation of the elastic moduli from the solution of the analogous problem for a compressible material involves taking the limit \(\nu\to 0.5\), which cannot be done formally, since the parameters of the problem are found from an infinite system of algebraic equations which cannot be solved in closed form.
