For two-dimensional nonstationary flows of an incompressible liquid in a bounded domain we obtain, under some assumptions (that include, in particular, the case of potential external forces) the convergence of solutions to the initial boundary value problem for the Navier-Stokes equations, to the solution of the corresponding initial boundary value problem for the equations of an ideal liquid as the viscosity coefficient tends to zero.
