The authors note that one of the inequalities proved by \textit{J. Sándor} and \textit{V. E. S. Szabó} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 204, No. 3, 646-654 (1996; Zbl 0871.26011)] is equivalent to the weighted arithmetic-geometric mean inequality, and obtain, with our method, a slightly simpler proof.
