This paper presents a simplified mathematical model of the Boltzmann equation which was introduced by \textit{M. Kac} [Probability and related topics in physical sciences (1959; Zbl 0087.33003)]. An error bound for the method is established and simulation experiments are compared with computational methods. The results obtained are encouraging.
