Let \(G\) be a graph on the vertex set \(V\), and \(R= k[V]\) a polynomial ring over a field \(k\). The authors give a very explicit description of the integral closure of the monomial subring \(k[G]\subset R\), generated by the squarefree monomials of degree two defining the edges of the graph \(G\).
