Sufficient conditions for a group of automorphisms of a Riemann surface to be its full automorphism group (Q1380039)

After some preliminary remarks concerning Fuchsian groups, the author proves a theorem concerning simple groups, and groups whose orders are not divisible by ``small'' primes. Then he applies his results to give explicit equations of Riemann surfaces whose defining equations and automorphism groups are completely determined. The theorems of this paper can be applied to a Riemann surface defined explicitly by a set of algebraic equations.
