The author gives a new simple and elementary proof of multidimensional convergence of types theorem without referring to the Skorokhod convergence theorem [used by \textit{K. Fazli} and \textit{J. Behboodian}, ibid. 24, No. 3, 243-244 (1995; Zbl 0832.60031)] or the polar decomposition of matrices [used by Sharpe (1969)] or characteristic functions. Instead he uses some basic results from matrix theory.
