Probabilistic convergence spaces and regularity (Q1380740)

The authors consider the generalization of topology spaces known as the convergence spaces and, in particular, the very interesting probabilistic convergence spaces. In this paper, the authors investigate regularity as characterized by the diagonal axiom \(R\) as it applies to probabilistic convergence spaces. In particular, they use the \(t\)-norm associated with probabilistic metric spaces and generalize the \(R\) to the axiom \(R_T\) relative to a \(t\)-norm \(T\). This defines the \(T\)-regularity. The authors then characterize \(T\)-regularity for various choices of \(T\), and investigate some \(T\)-regularity properties.
