Asymptotic behavior of hitting rates for absorbing stable motions in a half space (Q1382137)

The author obtains asymptotic behavior of the hitting rates for absorbing stable motions in a half space. By applying these results, he also obtains limit theorems for the particle system. This paper is an extension of his earlier study on absorbing Brownian motion [ibid. 33, No. 1, 145-187 (1996; Zbl 0851.60085)]. The author uses some nice computational techniques to obtain his results. Some independent results, like potential kernel and the generator, have also been obtained by the author.
