For isolated hypersurface singularities a classical result of \textit{J. N. Mather} and \textit{S. S.-T. Yau} [Invent. Math. 69, 243-251 (1982; Zbl 0499.32008)] states that the moduli algebra determines the analytic equivalence class. The author gives generalizations of this result to the case of non-isolated hypersurface singularities.
