By using the apparatus developed in the first part of this article [\textit{R. Vosylius}, Lith. Math. J. 37, 88-102 (1997; Zbl 0897.53018)], some fundamental theorems on the prolongations of bundles and connections are proved. The connections on higher order fibres are built as functions of jets of suitable bundles.
