Multifractal analysis of Choquet capacities (Q1383431)

The authors sketch that in some applications a capacity is a better tool as a measure and the simplest generalization relaxing additivity constraint. For a sequence of Choquet capacities, a reference measure and a sequence of partitions of the interval \(\left[ 0,1\right[ \) they define different types of multifractal spectrum functions following the classical setting. They compare these functions, but give also a construction for a sequence of capacities if a prescribed spectrum is given, which generates again the spectrum.
