The asymptotic stability of the rational recursive sequence \(x_{n+1}= (\alpha+ \beta x_n^2)/ (1+ yx_{n-1})\) is obtained and then the behavior of solutions of \[ x_{n+1}= n_n^p f(x_n,x_{n-1},\dots, x_{n-k}), \qquad n=0,1,\dots \] is also discussed.
