Deformations of simplicial structures (Q1384629)

The author studies the space of triangulations by pseudosimplicial complexes of a topological space \(X\). He does this through judicious iterated use of the hyperspace of \(X\). The hyperspace of \(X\) is a space whose points are compact subsets of \(X\). Paths in the space of triangulations correspond to deformations of triangulations. Various theorems are proved connecting combinatorial and topological properties of his triangulations.
