The author extends the variational formula of Lavrent'ev [\textit{M. A. Lavrent'ev} and \textit{B. V. Shabat}, Methods of the theory of functions of a complex variable (1987; Zbl 0633.30001)] of finitely connected domains with the help of the generalized Hilbert formulas. The author obtains also the generalized Löwner equation for a finitely connected domain and presents some applications of the obtained results.
