Consider a planar convex domain \(K\) and let \(R\) be the distance between a uniform random point \(P\) in \(K\) and a uniform random point \(Q\) in the boundary of \(K\) and independent of \(P\). The author expresses the moments of \(R\) in terms of Blaschke's chord power integrals using, in addition, the angles between the chord and the supporting lines at the endpoints.
