The purpose of the paper is to compare the integral definition contained in \textit{R. Henstock}: ``Theory of integration'' (1963; Zbl 0154.05001) to the one of \textit{A. Kolmogoroff} [Math. Ann. 103, 654-696 (1930; JFM 56.0923.01)]. It is shown that the two definitions are independent of each other while a suitable generalization of Kolmogoroff's definition contains the Henstock integral.
