The authors deal with first-order neutral differential equations \[ {d\over dt} [x(t)+ P(t)x(t- \tau)]+ Q(t) x(t-\sigma)= 0,\tag{1} \] with \(P,Q\in C([t_0, \infty),\mathbb{R}^+)\) and \(\tau,\sigma\in \mathbb{R}^+\). The authors establish an estimation for the distance between adjacent zeros of oscillatory solutions to (1). The obtained results improve and extend some known results in the literature.
