Conformal geodesic transformations (Q1387730)

The authors define a geodesic transformation \(\phi_P\) with respect to the point \(P\) in a Riemannian manifold (this transformation is not a geodesic transformation in the classical sense of T. Fubini). They also find a criterion when \(\phi_P\) is conformal. This transformation is called conformal geodesic. The problem of these transformations with respect to submanifolds in a Riemannian manifold is studied. The results are applied to warped product spaces.
