A comparative study between the problem of a market economy and a planned economy is made. Some interbranch balance models are presented in mathematical formulation. An iterative method to solve this problem is given. The paper presents an iterative aggregation process and some numerical investigations of its convergence. The energy expenditures lowering problem, which combines the permanently rising prices for the energetic resources on one hand and its consumption growth tendency on the other is modeled by a linear program. Also, an optimal control problem related to the temperature control of cooling concrete is formulated. Optimal conditions for both problems are formulated.
