In this technical contribution the sufficient bounded-input bounded-output (BIBO) stability conditions for discrete interval systems are provided. The controlled object is represented by a linear ARMA-model whose parameters are bounded within given intervals. The control objective penalizes the uncertainty of the predicted output (due to the parametric uncertainties), the control effort, and the tracking error. Simulation studies are selected to highlight the influence of the design parameters and the open-loop pole locations on the closed-loop BIBO system stability.
