The paper is concerned with system identification by orthogonal series. Discrete-time noise-free linear and nonlinear Hammerstein polynomial dynamical systems are considered and identification algorithms of system parameters from accurate input-output measurements are presented. The identification algorithms exploit the idea of orthogonal expansions. Some comparative study of the algorithms is made.
