In the first part of this paper, the author obtains some results concerning the singularities of the contact of circles with a given generic surface in Euclidean 3-space. The second part of the paper presents without proof the classification of the simple equivalence contact pairs in \(\mathbb{C}^m\) (Theorem 3).
